The 24 -year -old was regularly linked to a record world transition from Saudi Pro League rich in Spanish, the Spanish media suggesting that the flying winger is ready to listen to what is proposed.
A new Madrid contract proposal would have been rejected by Vinicius and his camp, which prompted club leaders to try to understand what it will take to put the pen on a new agreement.
It is believed that Vinicius wants his agreement to represent his position not only in Madrid, but also as one of the best players in the world. Speaking before the first round of the Champions League on Tuesday evening from 16 to draw with the rivals of Neigbouhood Atletico, Vinicius clearly indicated that he wanted to stay in the Spanish capital.
“I am very calm, because I have a contract until 2027 and hope that we can renew my contract as soon as possible,” Vinicius told the pre-match press conference. “I’m happy here, playing with the best players in the world, the best coach [Carlo Ancelotti]The best president [Florentino Pérez]Where everyone loves me. I could not be nowhere where here.

“Hopefully I will be able to score more goals, play more games in this shirt. My dream when I was a child played here. Now I am here, I can win much more and go into the history of this club, which is difficult with all the great legends that have played here.
A major discussion point towards the end of 2024 was Vinicius neglected for the Ballon d’Or in favor of Rodri – a decision which caused a boycott of the ceremony of each player and official associated with Real Madrid.
Vinicius brought the weight of the criticism for having jumped the ceremony, but detailed that he had simply followed the instructions of Madrid, which were extinguished by the decision not to reward his exploits of the Liga and the Champions League.
“I did what the club told me to do. The club asked me to stay in Madrid so I stayed calmly and now we are waiting for the next one,” said Vinicius.
“I have never dreamed of winning the Ballon d’Or but, of course, once you are so close to winning it, you want to win it,” he added. “I’m going to have many chances of winning other prizes and silverware with this club, which is more important. I have won two champions leagues so far and I am here to win much more.”
