On December 19, 2001, the Ring Stock Exchange struck the rooms and the Nerd culture was changed forever.
n
If you are like me, you associate these movies with the holidays and are about to review the three films (editions of course).
n
I re-regarded the Camaraderie Recently, and I had a funny reflection.
n
While they are in Moria’s mines, Gandalf reads the last entry into Mazarbul’s book, the Balin Journal and its dwarf colleagues and their expeditions – and the disappearance – inside the mines:
n
We cannot go out:
n
The end comes soon.
n
We hear the battery drums in the depths.
n
They come …
n
While I was looking at this scene, I couldn’t help laughing because I thought of the current gymnasiums to worry about the crowd to come in January:
n
n
“They come …”
n
Right now, millions and millions of people are ready for “New Year, New Me”.
n
Many of these people – maybe you yourself – have decided on January 1st will be the day to return to the gymnasium or start your training routine again.
n
I think it’s GREAT!
n
Studies show that having a “new start” or choosing specific time benchmarks such as January 1 can be beneficial to make changes.
n
There is a problem, however: “going regularly to the gym” is not a decision.
n
These are dozens of decisions that must be made:
n
- n
- Which gymnasium will you join?
- Are you going to change at home or in the locker room?
- What does the parking situation look like?
- What time of the day works best for you?
- What level of gym membership will you get?
- Are you going to choose lessons or train alone?
- What equipment will you use?
- Do you know how to use this equipment?
- Are you going to take a shower at the gymnasium or at home?
- How many times a week are you going to train?
- What if your equipment is used?

n
If you find intimidating gymnasiums or inducing anxiety, doing all of this in January is like playing a video game on the legendary difficulty:
n
The equipment you want to use can be occupied.
n
The parking situation could be a nightmare.
n
The course you want to follow could be full.
n
You will look for an excuse to tell you why you can’t do something. If you are intimidated by a gymnasium or agitated because it is overcrowded, then your brain begs you to stay at home and never join.
n
I know right now, your brain tells you “wait until January 1 …” before trying again.
n
It’s great!
n
However! If you are ready to take a few steps now, you will have much more likely to succeed.
n
So here is the challenge …
n
Join yourself today, but don’t even train!
n
This is an ideal opportunity to join without the additional pressure from all humanity::
n
This allows you to withdraw all additional decisions:
n
What a gymnasium, where to park, at what time of the day you are going to go, etc.
n
I am a fan of Terry Crews advice to get into the habit of going to the gymnasium:
n
“Go to the gymnasium and sit there and read a magazine, then go home.” And do it every day. Go to the gymnasium, don’t even train. Go for it.
n
Because the habit of going to the gymnasium is more important than training. Because no matter what you do.
n
You can have fun – but as long as you have fun, you keep doing it. “”
n
Try to consider these next two weeks as a beta test without waiting!
n
There is no training routine to follow.
n
You make sure to know where the equipment is and how it works
n
You do a dry race for what would be to train in the morning or in the evening.
n
You don’t have to fight so as not to be perfectly consistent.
n
Instead, you just focus on building the most difficult part of the routine now (getting into the car or walking towards the gymnasium and opening the door).
n
Which means you can arrive on January 1 with a momentum. And never underestimate how powerful the momentum can be.
n
I was not uniting you!
n
Many people will join our Coaching program In January, what is exciting!
n
But just as joining an early gymnasium has advantages, reaching our coaching before the rush means less waiting, more time to set you up with your trainer and more momentum before the new year!
n
We see it every year … which brings me to my two elbows for you.
