SystematismA SaaS platform that uses AI to rationalize scientific research, announced a $ 2.1 million seed round with the participation of Drive Capital and the character VCC, among others.
Launched last year by Ashia Livaudais and Michael House, the platform provides organized workspaces so that researchers access articles, code, data and experiences in one place. It helps to follow progress and has an AI function which helps to examine peers and replication.
“It is also important to note that Symbyai is built on an AI owner solution, so that users do not have to worry about sending confidential information to Openai, Anthropic or any other company,” Livaudais told Techcrunch. The intellectual property of researchers remains the property of the owners and is not used to train underlying models of Symyai.
Livaudais said that she had launched the company after dealing with first hand with the archaic system for revision and creation of science.
“Symy’s foundations were formed when creating a solution to a problem I was facing every day, then realizing that my colleagues from the research community sought solutions to the same problems,” she said. “As we realized that we could successfully and repeatedly shorten critical research processes from month to hours, demand for a productive version began to emerge from almost all the discovery conversations I had had.”
Symbyai works with university publishers, research organizations and universities. Livaudais said that she had met her investors by first participating in the Gbeta program, which is part of Gener8tor. Thanks to the Gbeta program, Livaudais connected with its first investors, including Antler, who, according to Livaudais, also took an early chance by investing in his pre -êtu round.
The company now plans to use the cool seed capital to continue to develop the company and fill in the initial partnerships.
