The developer of Pokemon TCG Pocket, Dena, published the huge Smackdown set in space -time at the end of January – but apparently, they do not want to rest on their laurels.
The next expansion of the negotiation card arrives in the game on February 28, 2025. The triumphant light will focus on the mythical god of Pokémon, Arceus, which was presented in the diamond, Pearl and Platinum of Generation Four Games.
This set which will be released so shortly after the previous fall is not a coincidence: Space-Time Smackdown was on the theme of the four generation, making the triumphant light a natural extension of the Dialga version and on the theme of Palkia.
Here is everything we know about the triumphant light, including the size of the game and the cards that will be presented in the Booster pack.
The triumphant light is associated with Space-Time Smackdown
Pokémon’s god is the highlighting of the new Pokemon TCG pocket game.
The new Pokemon TCG Pocket extension is a companion of the recent space confrontation set, introducing more Pokémon Generation Four into the popular mobile game.
While Space -Time Smackdown was a massive set of 155 cards, Triumphant Light will be a more targeted and refined expansion – the number of cards added is akin to the drop of mythical islands.
Mythical Island was on the theme around Mew and Celebi, and the triumphant light is theme around Arceus. These smaller expansion sets focus on mythical Pokémon that could not shine in more and more drops.
This establishes a kind of trend for the application of mobile trading cards. The first set of cards, Genetic Apex, was reinforced by mythical Island just when the media threw started to go out and the players lacked new cards to shoot. Now that part of the chandelier has died from the Smackdown Space-Time set, the expansion of triumphant light will revitalize new pull-ups.
New capacities will allow ARCEUS EX to place itself in many types of decks
New cards have special abilities that synergist with Arceus and Arceus ex.
Pokemon TCG Fighting is not all about brute force and selection of attacks with the biggest damage figures. It is also a question of using special effects to obtain one step ahead of your opponent when they expect the least.
Aside from Arceus Ex, several cards were presented in the expansion trailer that have a special link with the mythical Pokemon sporting the art of the peloton. The Tyranitar, Abomasnow, Rotom, Rotomu and Crobat cards all have the capacities of Pokemon that turn them if Arceus or Arceus Ex is at stake.
We have also seen the new Croagunk, Unown, Garchump Ex and Shaymin – Shaymin and Unown cards have their own Pokemon capacities, although they are not connected to the presence of arceus on the ground.
Each new set in Pokemon TCG Pocket focused on a specific mechanic for the card game to exchange. Mythical Island aimed to overeat the energy economy and space-time Smackdown added Pokémon tools. It seems that Pokemon capabilities will be the next mechanic to have the chance to shine in the new extension Released on February 28, 2025.
