The first Batman Ninja It was a wonderfully stupid period, and the future to come, Batman Ninja vs Yakuza Leagueseems to be roughly the same. But I think Warner Bros. Japan might have completely ruined for me – showing me what I cannot have instead.
As part of the promotional thrust for Batman Ninja vs Yakuza LeagueReleased next week, Warner Bros. Japan has published a false opening for Go! Bat PhoenixA hypothetical 70s style riff on classics like Science Ninja Team Gatchaman Or Voltes V. The short opening, with a classic pop climb for a theme, sees Batman, Red Hood, Nightwing and Red Robin associating with a properly ridiculous and dramatic launch sequence combining their various individual vehicles in the Bat Phoenix, or really, the Batwing on steroids.

Vibrations are immaculate. The false faded effect of the impression of the film, the simplified riffs on Batman NinjaCreations (Dick’s hair that seems to have been drawn from a framework of Speed runner Or Captain Tsubasa? Incredible), the dramatic sequence of mid-launch. It is a wonderful love letter to the classic anime, but it is also the one that adapts so well to Batman as a character.
It is not as if he did not have this kind of retro inheritance either – not just an obvious parallel to the re -apprecation of 1966 Batman Television series in recent years, but in the way it feels so reminding that Jiro Kuwata Batman Manga, this kind of hero of Swashbuckling in the vein of western gold and silver age of Batman. There is no absurdity here contrasting the black knight with a tone and an aesthetic that is not suitable, because, well … he do. Extremely good!
And now I have to continue living in a reality where Go! Bat Phoenix Does not have a three -season race on Max (Again– From our lips, to the ears of James Gunn). At least we have Batman Ninja vs Yakuza LeagueGet out digitally from March 18, to give a more modern anime interpretation of Batfamily to drop us off.
