Arsenal’s injury crisis was exacerbated by the news that Kai Havertz – their only senior central center – will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

The Emirates Stadium has sometimes been exasperated by the debauchery of the German, but their patience will now be put to the ultimate test after its injury to the hamstrings at the end of the campaign. With Gabriel Jesus already released for the rest of the term and the wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli also in the treatment room, things could become ugly in the closing months of the season.

Mikel Arteta, who is still continuing the success of the Premier League and the Champions League, will be forced to mention certain creative solutions after Arsenal has opted for the strengthening of their unit before during the recent January transfer window.

Here are three options for Arsenal because they seek to survive without a new number …

Leandro Trossard

Arsenal did not have only three options before their injured attackers returned, with the loan Raheem Sterling, Ethan Nwaneri, 17, and the Leandro Trossard incoherent everything that remains. The latter is most likely to fill the void formed by injuries in Havertz and Jesus, the Belgian having been used as nine sporadically during his stay in northern London.

Arteta will have little short -term choice, because the versatile 30 -year -old will become his strongest option in advance and that the Arsenal boss desperately hopes that Trossard can prove at least a passable coverage.

Trossard would probably operate in a false role which allows its intelligent movement and an impressive agility to defend central, with on each side of operating in the forged space in opposition defenses.

The former star of Brighton & Hove Albion does not benefit from the biggest season of his career, and will have to improve recent performance. He only managed five goals, against 17 in all competitions last season.

Nathan Butler -YEDEJI

Many of the most talented superstars in the world benefited from injuries from the first team to win their breakthroughs. It will be the hope that Arta clings when he is frantically looking for solutions, with the impressive configuration of the Arsenal Academy likely to be called for the rest of the season.

In terms of strikers, there is not an abundance of options that are currently hitting the door of the team, but Nathan Butler-Addeji is the one that has made this season. The 22 -year -old obtained his debut in Arsenal against Dinamo Zagreb in January and was on the bench for 12 games in total this quarter.

He was loaned to accrington Stanley and Cheltenham Town in recent seasons – without much success – and has been prolific with the Academy. Khayon Edwards was also in good shape in the youth teams of Arsenal and made seven appearances for Leyton Orient of League One, last quarter.

Regarding the broad attackers, Ismeal Kabia – who also made his debut at Arsenal this quarter – and Charles Sagoe Jr – who was loaned to Shrewsbury for the first half of the current campaign – these Arteta can turn. Both are very popular and can save minutes by the end of the season.

Diego Costa

Desperate times call for desperate and arsenal measures could be forced to turn to the troubled waters of the free agents market. With the winter transfer window that stopped in early February, the Gunners have no choice but to target unattached players if they choose to strengthen their team from the outside.

There are not many inspiring names to choose, with the former Chelsea Star Diego Costa among the veterans available. The ex-avances ex-Arsenal Lucas Perez and Carlos Vela are other emergency options.

A short contract until the end of the current campaign could be deployed to a player with high-level experience, but it is always difficult to imagine that Arsenal is recruiting a 35-year-old has-been.
